CLASSES

WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO REGISTER EARLY SO THAT THE INSTRUCTORS KNOW IF THE CLASS IS GOING TO BE ABLE TO GO. THIS ALSO HELPS THEM TO PLAN FOR SUPPLIES AND KITS. INSTRUCTORS NEED A MINIMUM NUMBER OF STUDENTS FOR EACH CLASS - WE WILL DECIDE TO CANCEL 5 DAYS BEFORE CLASS IF THERE AREN'T ENOUGH STUDENTS REGISTERED. IF INSTRUCTORS ARE COMING FROM OUT OF TOWN - WE WILL DECIDE TO CANCEL 4-6 WEEKS BEFORE THE CLASS IF WE HAVEN'T REACHED THE MINIMUM NUMBER YET.

CLASS POLICIES:

1. you must Pay in Full to hold your spot in the class (classes are on a first-come first-serve basis) please contact me if you need to make payments

2. you may pay thru the website via paypal or you may contact me about paying in person or over the phone (I do accept checks and cash)

3. full refund is given with 14 days notice of cancellation prior to the class

4. none or partial refund will be given for less than 14 days notice of cancellation (this will be determined by the instructor of the class on a case by case basis)

5. for teachers coming from out of state - there will be a $25 non-refundable deposit for each class taken - and you must give a 30-day notice for cancellation to get any refund - this is because out of state instructors must plan for travel arrangements ahead of time and this is based on how many students have pre-registered

6. if the store or the instructor cancels the class, a full refund will be given or you may transfer the class fee to another class

7. please do not bring your children or other family members to class (unless they are paying for the class as well)

8. you can read about specific classes and the supplies needed under the events tab - it is your responsibility to verify class times and supplies needed

9. on the day of class, all students & teachers will receive 10% off any purchases they wish to make (products only)

I realize that for some people, being in a group setting is difficult to do, but you would still like to find that creative energy you have. Or for others, the timing of the classes is all wrong for your own schedule. Or perhaps you just want the one-on-one attention you can get from a private class. Or maybe you have difficulty with getting to the class. If you are interested in having a private class, please contact me and we can discuss your options.

If you have any questions about the classes or instructors, please let me know. Classes are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. When I receive payment in full for your class, you are registered. These classes are all in-store classes. You must be able to come to the store/studio for the class. I am not offering on-line classes at this point, although I hope to do so in the near future.

Once you register for the class be sure to make note of any supplies that you might need to bring (these can be found under the Events tab on the website). It is always a good idea to bring an apron.

Note that we have a new program in place (beginning Oct 2014) for your classes. You will have a Class card (similar to the frequent shopper card). Every class you register, and PAY for in full, more than 30 days prior to the class, gives you a punch on your card. Once your card is full you will receive a FREE GIFT from the shop. Just like the frequent shopper card, I will keep your card here and track your classes for you. You don't have to do anything in order to be eligible, except register for your classes. I hope this helps encourage you to sign up early for classes whenever possible.
